Severe winds and seismic activity occur in many parts of the U.S. Conn-Fab’s seismic curbs are specifically engineered to withstand these forces. Standard construction includes an anchoring system that secures the curb to the roof structure and the rooftop air handling equipment to the curb. For certain seismic applications, a spring isolation system may be required, which Conn-Fab can provide. Let Conn-Fab evaluate your particular application and recommend the appropriate solution that meets the requirements of your project’s applicable building code. Compliance verification and calculations can be provided and are performed by a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) for the seismic zone in which they are to be installed.
